Virtual samples are provided without charge. Usually the same day. Send an email to request a virtual sample. Please include the following with your e-mail:
- Artwork
- Color choice for logo and location specifications. Refer to our Standard Ink Colors or provide the Pantone color number(s).
- Item number of softball

Virtual samples are useful to see what your softball will look like before you order. It allows you to show the image to others for opinion or approval.
Artwork
Submitting the proper artwork is super important. We require vector artwork in EPS, AI or PDF format.
If you are only printing text, we can help you with that. Just tell us the text to print and the font to use. We will send the artwork to you for approval prior to creating the virtual sample.
One Color Artwork – Send the artwork in black color. We will print the color you specify, but the artwork should be sent in black color.
Multi-Colored Artwork – Send the artwork using the colors you want us to print. We offer printing using our Standard Ink Colors or Pantone Colors. There is a charge for Pantone color matching.
Color / Location
Please specify the location for the printing. Maybe you want the logo turned a certain direction. Maybe you want the logo to be located on the right side of each ball. These issues can be resolved during the virtual sample process.
Printing Locations:
Promotional Softballs: Right Side, Left Side and Between the Seams.
Wilson and Rawlings Softballs: Right Side and/or Left Side
Item Number
You provide the item number for the ball. If you have a ball in your possession, the item number is printed onto each softball. You can also browse the web site of Wilson or Rawlings to locate the items number. Many softball leagues and teams require a certain style of ball.
